1One 2 ½” peach = 35 calories and is a source of calcium, Vitamin A, phosphorus, and has not fat or cholesterol. What a wholesome snack for anyone regardless of your dietary restrictions!

One pound of fresh peaches is equivalent to:

  • 3-4 medium sized peaches
  • 2 cups of sliced peaches
  • 1 ½ cups of pulp of puree

One bushel of fresh Titan brand peaches = 50 pounds yielding 18 to 4 quarts of peaches.

Facts

Fresh golden peaches are juicy, nutritious snacks eaten fresh from the farm or serve in endless recipe combinations such as appetizers, salads, garnishes, sauces, entrees, and desserts.

To insure quality when buying Titan Brand peaches, select fruit that is free of bruises and decay. A background that is creamy yellow in color indicates maturity. The redness or blush will vary depending on the variety and is not a good indication of ripeness. Select peaches that are firm but give a little when squeezed gently. Peaches may be stored in a bin at the bottom of the refrigerator and soften at room temperature.

**Important Notice To All Buyers and Consumers**
Peaches are a beautiful, delicate, and sweet fruit that must be handled with great care. Because they are so delicate, they will bruise if handled roughly. Peaches should be stored at proper temperatures to insure their quality and flavor…see the chart below for temperature effects on peaches.
